Welcome
For anyone who stumbles across this page this is where I will blog my adventure while studying in China. I started this because when I started I knew nothing other than to show up at the university on September 10th.. This will be my third time abroad, I have already studied in France and Japan.
My goal is to share the adventure and hope that someone other than my family and girlfriend will read it or learn something from it. Please look, read and comment.

Today is the day i got to meet caryoln. IT WAS SO GOOD to finally see her.
we went to several streets and just walked and talked we had lunch and then went back to my hosel where we talked more. i shared with her cowboy music and then found out she loves to dance! so what do you do when you get a cute chinese girl in your room? Teach her to SWING! HORAY! yes and she is a good dancer. she learned very fast. we were swing dancing away. it was great fun! She left that evening and promised to escort me to the train station the next day.
