So today i went to the summer palace. I dont know what to say other then look at the photo. it was the getaway of the emperors. i wouuld love to live there. the photos speak more for themselves than i could. i just walked around and had the time of my life walking through the gardens and the palace.I did have a good time at the back of the palace was a small market that was built to give the illusion that the emporors were involved in common life, doing such things as shopping. the market was fully restored and allowed visitors to shop like the ancients. i did stop ot have lunch and food was alright and remarkably not overpriced. however there was a catch. the tea cost as much as the entire meal. there is always a catch. and well i fell for it.
but the market was fun. i wanted to buy a kite but again resist the temptation! walking back through the garden to the entrance and back to the hostel for a good night sleep.
