Welcome

For anyone who stumbles across this page this is where I will blog my adventure while studying in China. I started this because when I started I knew nothing other than to show up at the university on September 10th.. This will be my third time abroad, I have already studied in France and Japan.
My goal is to share the adventure and hope that someone other than my family and girlfriend will read it or learn something from it. Please look, read and comment.

**Updates**

*New Color Scheme & animations! Happy Halloween
*For fellow students I uploaded files for studying. The links are on the left.
*On the bottom of the page is a following gadget. Please add yourself to let me know that you follow this blog! Kind of like the friends from myspace!
*New Links on the left for new podcast. I have to admit the paranormal podcast is particularly awsome. And awsome props to touchstone, I can't live without your weekly podcast.

day 5

So today was an early day. It was much easier. Louis’s parents got us a heating blanket. I feel bad because I made a comment in jest and he took it seriously and now there is a heating blanket. Well today we went to the city to meet his friends. A bit of a bus ride and we made our way to the city. There we walked around till his friends got out of high school. We went to eat and afterward we went to play pool. And then it was to return home. It is only 4 now. Louis wanted to try to play war craft together but we can not connect the computers. We only have an Ethernet cable, no hub or crossover cable. Why it’s overly complex I don’t know. It seems like it should be simple, Ethernet cable to two computers and they see each other. But no for some reason it requires networks, hubs, workgroups etc etc etc. seems one of those easy things that should just work…

So instead I am working on writing and editing pictures while watching small vile. I brought season three and nothing else. Yea way to go smart me eh? So yea I guess that is that. What else. Seems there should be more to report today.

Well in the city I saw 4 people beating on a big drum. I thought they were practicing for the spring festival but instead they doing it to get people to pay attention to them so they can pass out fliers.

Um well nothing else happened.
